Gujarat Technological University Innovation & Startup Centre (GISE)

We were given the i-Scale award by the GIC (GTU Innovation Council, which is part of the Gujarat Technological University Innovation & Startup Centre) in recognition of our exceptional contribution to society, as well as our excellence and leadership in building a successful startup.

Attended 3D Vision Summer School at IIIT Hyderabad

Attended the 7 days in-person 3d Vision Summer School program from 22nd May to 28th May 2022. Coursework I attended was Introduction to Image Processing, 3D Sensing, Representation, and Visualization, Introduction to Geometry Processing, Introduction to 3D Deep Volumetric & Point Cloud Learning, Introduction to Deep Learning on Meshes, Introduction to Implicit Function Learning, and 3D Human Reconstruction. More details can be found at https://cvit.iiit.ac.in/workshops/3dvision/

Trainer of Robotics and AR/VR Workshop

As an AIIH core member, I organised three Robotics Workshops and one AR-VR Workshop in our college and then another. In addition, I hosted a robotics webinar at BAPU College for their students. In the Robotics workshop, I teach students how to manipulate actuators, read sensors, and programme a robot using embedded C language on AT Mega 2560 microcontroller. For the AR-VR session, I teach them the fundamentals of object designing using blender, as well as an introduction to game development with Unity as well as how to make an AR app using Vuforia and a VR app with Google VR SDk.

College Hackathons, Task Based Training Program and Volunteering

I've participated in a number of events held at my institute and in the surrounding area. Successfully completing the two-month task-based training program on robotics, which included various robot manipulations and programming assignments, and being among the top finalist in the 24-hour robotics hackathon held on September 25th, 2019, gave me the opportunity to become a robotics workshop trainer. In addition, as a core member of my college's AIIH community club, I have organized and volunteered for a variety of events, including principal meetups, orientation programs, workshops, hackathons, and contests.

E-yantra Robotics Competition - 2019

For EYRC 2019, the theme named Supply Bot was given, where we reached the semi-finals. In this theme, we have to perform the line following in a circular manner, locate the coin using objection detection through the camera, and hit the coin at the specified location (here, at the center) using our self-developed striker.Using embedded C programming, the robot was programmed for line following as well as striker control. For identifying ArUco markers, we use OpenCV. The ZigBee module was used to communicate between the laptop and the robot.

E-yantra Robotics Competition - 2020

For EYRC 2020, the theme named Sahayak Bot was given. In this theme, we have to program an Autonomous Navigation Vehicle which would be capable of navigating across several environments and could be used to ship objects from one place to another in the warehouse. We have to program this Autonomous Navigation Vehicle using ROS. Understanding ROS (ROS Melodic in Ubuntu 18.04), 2D Mapping for Autonomous Navigation (ROS Navigation Stack), 3D Mapping for Arm Manipulation (ROS Manipulation Stack), Recognizing specific Objects (ROS Perception Stack), Pick and Place of Objects through 6DoF arm, we succeeded profoundly.

HackOn 2.0 -- Hackathon

I participated in HackOn 2.0, a global diversity hackathon that lasted three days, where we designed a web application called YourMedic that acts as a bridge between doctors and patients that can be used in pandemic situations like Covid. The application was created to allow doctors to communicate with their patients in order to provide continual updates, daily reports, and prescriptions. We used the MERN Stack for the application.

Wado-Kai Karate -- Sho-Dan Black Belt

I've been practising Wado-Kai Karate since second grade. Along my journey, I have competed in numerous karate tournaments, winning gold more than five times at the district level, more than fifteen times at the state level, twice at the national level, and also I have won silver at the international level. I now hold the Sho-Dan Black Belt.
